ABA

Applied Behavior Analysis
(ABA)

Our program is based on the ABA method, Applied Behavior Analysis ("ABA"). This is a personalized teaching method that is focused on achieving a desired change in the child's behavior and increasing life language , play and socialization.

Skills worked in ABA therapy:

  • Communication and Language Skills

  • Game Skills

  • Social skills

  • Personal Autonomy Skills

  • Fine and Gross Motor Skills

  • Cognitive habilyties

  • Academic and Pre-Academic Skills

  • Behavioral Aspects

Behavior analysis focuses on the principles that explain how learning takes place. Positive reinforcement is one such principle. When a behavior is followed by some sort of reward, the behavior is more likely to be repeated.

Our Center works with children and youngters diagnosed between the ages of 2 and 21 years old

Our Behavior Analysts work to maximize progress in children's behavior and performance considering  diferents options for ABA therapy, including In-Home Therapy, In-School Therapy  and to develop social skills and interaction with the Community.

Our specialists come to your child's school to assess your child's needs in the school setting, as part of your child's comprehensive ABA treatment plan.

Our team also supports teachers with your child's school needs, providing a variety of ABA services including ABA education, behavioral assessments, program/curriculum modifications, IEP development, and ongoing support.

Our team not only limits therapy to home or school but also works to help children develop social skills to make friends, learn from others, and develop hobbies and interests in public spaces or outdoors.
Under strict supervision children can interact with other children, play, play games and other physical activities.
These ideas and strategies can help to develop social skills in stages like infancy through:

  • practice the game: learn to take turns, deal with winning and losing, follow the rules….

  • congratulate: promoting self-esteem.

  • role-playing games: they simulate different scenarios, enhancing the imagination.

  • social stories

  • visual supports: they structure and make predictable what is going to happen, reducing anxiety.
